                                ORDINANCE NO. 9761
                  
                  
                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHATTANOOGA CITY CODE,
                   PART II, SECTIONS 31-36, 31-37, 31-41, AND
                   31-43, AS AMENDED, RELATIVE TO SEWER SERVICE
                   CHARGES AND FEES.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that Chattanooga City Code, Part II, be
       amended as follows:
       	    	 SECTION 1.  That Section 31-36(a) be amended by deleting
       the table therein and substituting the following table:

       	    	 SECTION 5.  That Section 31-41 be amended by deleting
       $0.083 and substituting in lieu thereof $0.086 as the rate for

       and by deleting $0.053 and substituting in lieu thereof $0.058 as 

       the rate for Sc.
       	    	 SECTION 6.  That Section 31-43(b) be amended by deleting
       "seventy-seven dollars and 16 cents ($77.16)" and substituting in 

       lieu thereof "eighty-three dollars and nine cents ($83.09)."

       	    	 SECTION 7.  That Section 31-43(f) be amended by deleting
       "nineteen dollars and 14 cents ($19.14)" and substituting in lieu 

       thereof "twenty dollars and sixty-two cents ($20.62)."
       	    	 SECTION 9.  That this Ordinance shall become effective
       two (2) weeks from and after its passage as provided by law, but
       that the operative dates of the changes in rates specified herein 

       shall be July 1, 1992.
